Yesterday was our first club day at ECMS and we got to meet all of our new Bridge Builders! Bridge Builders Youth volunteer in the community and bridge gaps that they see through education, insight, and the want to UNITE their community. Thank you United Way of Northeast Kentucky for encouraging the Youth Service Center to bring this to our school.

Sept 21-25 East Carter Middle School and East Carter High School are participating in “Start With Hello Week”. This is a week dedicated to making new social connections and creating a sense of unity among youth.

We are celebrating to build a culture of inclusivity and empathy-one hello at a time.

Teachers and school staff are getting involved by volunteering to be a trusted adult, in our building that students can talk to!
