We would like to thank Cathy Boggs from Primary Plus, Michael Harper with Grayson Fire Dept., Whitney Morrow for Carter county Extension Office, and Carrie Walker with the Carter County Health Dept.

Prichard Community,

At Prichard, we are constantly working to ensure our students receive the very best instruction every day. As part of this commitment, we recently welcomed Dr. Kimberly Bell from TNTP (The New Teacher Project) to our building to collaborate with our educators in reading.

During her visit, Dr. Bell partnered with our grade-level reading teachers and our admin team to facilitate PLC’s on Wednesday and conduct classroom walkthroughs today. The lesson internalization work with our HQIR Amplify reading curriculum helps our teachers develop a deep understanding of each lesson and tailor instruction to meet the unique needs of every student.

High-Quality Instructional Resources (HQIRs) are comprehensive, research-based classroom materials fully aligned with state standards, designed to provide equitable access and vibrant learning experiences for all students.

We are incredibly grateful for the dedication of our teachers and staff and look forward to seeing the positive impact of this partnership continuing to grow in our classrooms.
