Kristin Eklund Haverkampf is a classically trained soprano and alumna of Oberlin Conservatory. Haverkampf has been in demand as a soloist, chorister, adjudicator, and clinician. Haverkampf was a member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus for over a decade, and a frequent soloist for the Barrington-based Chicago Master Singers. She currently sings with the Milwaukee Symphony Chorus.

Hello my beautiful students and parents,
Wow! We are living through extraordinary times.
I will be suspending in-person lessons at least through April 4, longer if it becomes necessary.
As an alternative, National Association of Teachers of Singing (of which I am a member) is working with/recommending various online platforms so that teachers can offer that as an option.
This has been the norm for professional performers, who are not near their teachers but need tune ups, for quite a while. I have been reluctant to jump in, but after a seminar this past weekend on the various platforms I am actually excited and see uses beyond this crisis.
It will take me a few days to figure out the logistics, but once I do I will send a follow up email.
In the meantime, the app that I use in studio for most of your accompaniments (the one where we can transpose and change tempos etc) is offering a one month free unlimited use. It is
