Kathi's Musicians' Center School of Music Piano, Guitar, More --Performance and Instruction, all ages, all levels, Students are given written progress reports semi-annually.

Kathi's Musicians' Center School of Music (KMC) is licensed school dedicated to the enrichment of the lives of music lovers with excellence and artistry in performance and music instruction. KMC'S professional performance faculty offers instruction of various musical genres in piano, keyboards, voice, guitar, ukulele, theory, arranging, music history, composition, sight reading and ear traini

ng. KMC students annually earn 'Superior' ratings in National Guild Evaluations, and have earned Top Ratings in International Composition Evaluations. Many KMC teens and adults have been hired for various music jobs including music teachers in the schools after earning their Bachelor's Degree in music. KMC Adults and Young Performers have private lessons all year, and several opportunities to get together with their peers to share their performance and other music activities at recitals, workshops and master classes. KMC welcomes all ages, beginner through artist level.

KUDOS to our long time friend, colleague, superb musician and conductor, Paul Hefner! I am honored to work with long time friends, colleagues and excellent musicians in the orchestra for the College of Lake County's 2025 Summer Musical , Hairspray. I worked rehearsals with the singers and orchestra. We shared feelings of exhaustion, and hard work with the 300+ page music score, and finally joy seeing the great success in the performances. Thank you!
