These kindergarten students in Ms. Sobrado and Mrs. Clements’ class loved reading David McKee’s “Elmer the Patchwork Elephant” about celebrating individuality. They also got to decorate their own Elmer with colorful tissue paper pieces.

Congratulations to Ashton and Riley for representing GES at the fastest Greyhound race at last night’s football game! Ashton came in first place! Riley persevered after a fall and still crossed that finish line! We are so proud of them. 💜💛👏🤩

We love having this opportunity to celebrate students. Thank you to those who cheered these little runners on. It meant so much to them and their families. It really is great to be a Greyhound Pup!

🌈🍬 Mrs. Baugh’s class made math a little sweeter today! They learned all about graphing, comparing data, and analyzing graphs using Skittles! 📊❤️ Learning is always more fun when you can eat your data, too! 😋

Please help cheer them on at the Fastest Greyhound race at the JCHS football game this Friday against Valdosta. They will be racing at the beginning of the 2nd quarter against students from MWES, DFES, and TWES.

Congratulations to Bam M. for running 100 15 meter PACER laps! Welcome to the triple digit club!

The PACER test measures aerobic capacity and cardiovascular endurance. The PACER test gets progressively more challenging as it continues meaning the runner has to run faster laps! 100 laps is a big accomplishment!
