Thank you to District Attorney Joe Waitz for bringing Harlem Globetrotter, Melvin Adams, to H. L. Bourgeois High School to speak with our students about goals, life choices, and perseverance!
We appreciate Mr. Adams sharing his experiences and encouraging our students to make purposeful choices, stay focused on their goals, and to keep pushing through challenges. Thank you both for investing in our students and their futures! 💙🤍

HLB Students Interact Club members volunteered alongside Life Coast Community Health Center during the Fall Into Good Health event at the Terrebonne Parish Library. The students helped Life Coast engage with families, share valuable health resources, and create a welcoming environment for children attending the event. Their involvement provided an opportunity for students to give back while supporting Life Coast’s mission of promoting health and wellness throughout the community. This demonstrates the positive impact students can have when they use their time and talents to serve others.
