I am proud to announce that Music Medix has hired Jessica Tribble to teach traditional piano and sheet music.

Jessica studied piano at the former Macon State College, now Middle Georgia State University. She began her music education at age 6 and has been a church pianist and organist since age 10. She brings more than 5 years of experience teaching piano using the traditional, classical approach. For more than 30 years, she has performed as a solo artist and accompanist for elementary, middle, high-school, college, and church choirs. She has lived in the middle Georgia community the majority of her life and has homeschooled her children since 2010.

As important as traditional music education is, I have always considered sight-reading and sheet music to be our number one weakness. We have somewhat succeeded in spite of ourselves focusing heavily on practical music theory, chords, rhythm, performance, and learning to operate multiple instruments...but there have always been parents looking for a more traditional piano education that we simply weren't equipped to provide.

Until now.

With Jessica joining us, Music Medix can finally offer that traditional foundation alongside the methods that have made our program successful.

Jessica is an especially good fit because she is deeply rooted in the discipline and structure of traditional piano instruction, has experience working with students of all ages, and she understands what we do and why it works.

We aren't replacing what makes Music Medix different. We're adding something very important that we were missing.

Students will now be able to learn traditional piano and sheet music while still having access to the practical theory, chords, Nashville Number System, performance opportunities, and social experiences
that have always been at the heart of Music Medix.

For years, there have been potential students we had to refer somewhere else because they were specifically looking for traditional piano instruction.

Now we can serve them too.

Welcome to Music Medix, Jessica. We're excited about what you bring and this next step in the growth of our program.

We are close to maxxing out our student enrollment for the first time since feb 2020.

To accomodate the volume, we now offer group lessons Tue, Wed, or Thurs.(group is 2 hrs) Which has a few open slots.

As far as "one on one" lessons- Mondays are one away from full. Any new student would have to schedule their appt at 715 -(the last slot of the day.)

Our kids will soon be playing out again. The band practices continue, and as our other students 'Get Better' they will be added to bands of their own.

We now have 3 band practice rooms to accomodate the future band explosion.

Also, we have added a shuttle to transport our students from most JC public schools or Homeschool Co-Ops to Music Medix.

We also have resource material publicly available to anyone who feels overwhelmed or stressed, or who feels they need mental health attention.

Growth brings challenges and for now, we seem to be meeting them.
