It’s with great sadness that i have to share that we lost another classmate yesterday 12.08.23. Please keep Scott Phillip Richard’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. Loss is hard but so close to the holidays is so much harder.

There are currently no plans for a 30 year reunion.

The HLB family mourns the passing of Mrs. Brenda Powell. Mrs. Powell served as a guidance counselor on the Reservation from 1985 until her retirement in 2003. In this position, she helped many years' worth of Braves get the information and tools they needed to take the giant leap out of H. L. Bourgeois and into the "real world," and for this, we are eternally grateful. Rest in peace, Mrs. Powell.

Missed your chance to purchase a yearbook? Didn't think you'd want one, but now you do? You're in luck! HLB has a healthy supply of vintage editions of the Calumet dating back to 1976, and you're welcome to buy one! All proceeds go towards the designing and publication of future yearbooks.

NOTE: If a year isn't included here, then we unfortunately do not have any more extra copies to sell. If you would like to simply view/browse a vintage yearbook, the Terrebonne Parish Library - Main Branch (near the Civic Center) has a partially complete collection of the HLB Calumet.

Hey Friends!

I'm stepping into something a little different this year. This happened just two years after we graduated. I know some of you have heard pieces and parts of it throughout the years but I'm going all in as a public speaker in addition to all the other creative projects we have on our plates.
