🎶✨ TURNER WOODS HAS THE GLOW! ✨🎶

As we wrap up our first full month of school, we’re celebrating with our very own Turner Woods Glow Anthem! 🐯💚💙

Over the past few dayss, classes helped Mrs. Dixon bring our anthem to life in a music video filled with Tiger spirit, familiar faces, and plenty of Neon Nation GLOW! 🎥⚡️

Mrs. Thompson’s 5th grade GATE students have been extending their learning about the incredible Navajo Code Talkers! After reading about Chester Nez and his important role during World War II, students put their own code-breaking skills to the test by working to decode a top-secret Navajo code message! 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️

What a great way to bring history to life while practicing critical thinking and problem-solving! 🇺🇸📚

🧪💦 Sink or Float in Mrs. Rugar’s Kindergarten Class! 💦🧪

Yesterday, our little scientists experimented with a toy car, cube, popsicle stick, and Play-Doh ball to see what would sink and what would float!

Today, they took their learning a step further! 🤔 Would 10 cubes sink a Styrofoam bowl? What about 15 cubes? Would 10 popsicle sticks sink it? Maybe 15?

Lots of predicting, testing, observing, and learning happening in kindergarten! 🔍✨ We love seeing our Tigers think like scientists! 🐯💙💚

📚 Scott Superstars Learning in Action! 🌟

Mrs. Scott’s 4th Grade Superstars were learning through collaboration and teamwork with an engaging group project! Students used playing cards to create numbers to the hundred-thousands place.

After creating their numbers, students practiced reading and writing each number and then represented it in expanded form to demonstrate their understanding of place value.
