The Power of Partnerships on Display at JCCCA - We are incredibly grateful to our business and industry partners for attending the Jones County College and Career Academy’s “Thank You Breakfast” on May 7, 2026! Your continued support of our students and programs is helping shape the future workforce and making a lasting impact on our community.

It was an honor to hear welcoming remarks from Dr. Jessica Graves, Superintendent, and Mr. Dennis Woolfolk, JCHS Principal, as we celebrated the success and growth of our Work-Based Learning (WBL) students.

One of the highlights of the morning was hearing from three current WBL students who shared their experiences and future plans representing all three post-graduation pathways: continuing their education, enlisting in the military, and entering the workforce. Their stories truly reflected the value of hands-on learning opportunities and the importance of strong community partnerships.

We were also proud to hear from John Watson, former WBL student and 2025 graduate, who spoke about his experiences after high school and his progression through the electrician apprenticeship levels with Speir Electric. His journey is a powerful example of how education and industry partnerships create meaningful career opportunities for students.

Congratulations to all of the WBL students who met their yearlong goals and were awarded their WBL graduation cords during the breakfast! We are proud of your hard work and accomplishments.

Thank you again to all of our business and industry partners for investing in our students, our schools, and the future workforce. Your partnership truly makes a difference, and we are thankful for the “Power of Partnerships” each and every day!

Jones County High School CTI had an amazing time at the CTI State Leadership Conference at Rock Eagle, April 15-17. - Jones County High School CTI had an amazing time at the CTI State Leadership Conference at Rock Eagle, April 15-17. The conference brought together 643 students from 95 schools across Georgia for three days of leadership development, competition, and collaboration.

Students participated in competitive events, demonstrating skills and career exploration, workplace, readiness, and leadership. In addition to competition, students engaged in a leadership track designed to strengthen communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills that support success beyond high school.

New state officers for the 2026 2027 school year were elected following a competitive process that included campaigning and interviews. Please join me in congratulating JCHS junior Hannah Porter on being elected as a Georgia CTI State Officer!!

The Georgia CTI State Conference continues to be a cornerstone experience for CTI students. It provides meaningful opportunities to develop skills, build connections, and prepare for life after high school. http://edne.tw/n1016548
