There was a large turnout for the fall meeting of the Washington County Cattlemen's Association at the Appalachian Fairgrounds in Gray, Tennessee!
DBHS FFA members Stella Brumfield and Avery Vicars served food and got a photo with Tennessee gubernatorial candidate, John Rose.

Big congratulations to Josh Armentrout — named 2026 Teacher of the Year at Daniel Boone High School! Born and raised on a family farm in Washington County, TN, Josh returned to teach at his alma mater after earning degrees in Wildlife & Environmental Sciences, Agricultural Education, and an Ed.S. He’s married to his high-school sweetheart, Heather, and they have three sons: Oakes, Brooks, and Hayes. Mr. Armentrout loves farming, hunting, fishing, sports, and family time, and he serves on several community boards. We’re proud of his dedication to teaching agriculture, practical life skills, and helping students grow as individuals and leaders through FFA.

Our chapter Treasurer, Reporter, and Historian attended the Legislative Breakfast this past Saturday!
Senator Rusty Crowe spoke about future changes in Tennessee regarding Agriculture.
Washington County Schools Superintendent, Jerry Boyd, was also in attendance.
