H.L. Bourgeois High School Class of 1991,

We need to add our classmates to this page so everyone can be involved and informed about the 35th reunion.

Also, if you are in contact with classmates who are not on Facebook, please have them voice their thoughts and comments regarding which they would prefer:

Option 1:
Meet at a restaurant/ bar and everyone handles their own bills for the evening.

Option 2:
Have the reunion at a venue/hotel and have it catered. Note: the cost would greatly depend on how many people commit to coming. I explained all of this in a previous post this month with all of the costs and menus that were quoted/supplied.

Before I book anything and pay deposits, I want to make sure we are all on the same page.

Class of 1991:

The results are as follows for those who posted and those who contacted me directly about our 35th reunion:

It was a tie between a bar/restaurant and a venue option🤷‍♀️

October 17, 2026 was the highest chosen date.

We barely had two handfuls of classmates who voted. Please get more classmates to vote so it can be fair to everyone. I realize a lot of people do not want to spend the extra money on a venue, but this is our 35th reunion and covid stole our 30th so we kind of need to do something special, even if it is a really nice dinner at a restaurant, don’t ya think?

So, we need to pick a restaurant/bar that is big enough to house all of us on or around October 17, 2026….I am open to suggestions so start listing them below!!!!

Ok it’s that time y’all!!! Our 35th anniversary of our graduation is next month!!!

We did a poll last year on places to have our 35th reunion and these were the top 3 results:

1) bar / restaurant

2) venue (such as hotel banquet room)

3) backyard party at someone’s house

Please narrow the choice down by voting for 1, 2 or 3.

Possible Reunion Dates are:

1) August 22nd

2) September 19th

3) October 17th

4) November 14th

Please narrow the choice down by voting for 1, 2, 3 or 4.

Majority will decide so please tell everyone to vote.

HLB Class of 1991,

We’re having our 35th reunion next year.

I wanted to throw some ideas out there to get the discussions started so we can all participate in the collaborative process of making this a very successful event for all of us. Do you want the reunion held:

A.) at a Hotel Banquet Room (for people who want to drink but not worry about drinking and driving - everyone chip in for the banquet room and everyone takes care of their own alcoholic beverages)

B.) on a Caribbean Cruise (no drinking and driving - everyone pay for their own way and drink packages)

C.) at a local bar/restaurant (everyone pay for their own food and drinks)

D.) at a local lake or beach (rent a covered pavilion and everyone bring their own food and drinks)

E.) a local park (rent a covered pavilion and everyone bring their own food and drinks)

F.) you don’t care cause you’re not coming anyway 😂

Happy 34th Anniversary of our Graduation, Class of 1991! 🥳🎈🎉

It’s time to start planning our 35th Reunion!!! Thankfully, there’s no Covid shut downs or lockdowns stopping our reunion this time so let’s go big or go home while we still can!!! Would love to hear your ideas and suggestions!!! We have at least a year to plan it all out and make it happen. Go Braves!!!
