This week at Little Duckies Learning Center, we continued learning all about our classroom, classroom rules, and how to work and learn together! We also had so much fun creating art using different materials and textures. So much learning, creativity, and fun is taking place every day! 🎨✨

🍉 Watermelon Day! 🍉

Our little duckies had so much fun celebrating Watermelon Day! We learned about the watermelon life cycle, painted watermelons, and used our problem-solving skills to figure out how to open one. After trying different tools, the kids decided the best way was to smash it on the ground! 😂 We enjoyed eating our watermelon and even shared the scraps with our happy chickens! 🐔🍉 What a fun, hands-on day!

🎓✨ Congratulations to our amazing preschool graduates of Little Duckies Learning Center! ✨🎓

It has been such an honor and joy watching each of these little duckies grow, learn, and blossom over the past year. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and can’t wait to see all the wonderful things that are ahead for them. Upward and onward to their next big adventure!

The Duckies had an amazing week filled with end-of-the-year celebrations! 🌺☀️ They enjoyed water play, a fun Hawaiian party, exciting games, and even got to participate in a water obstacle course complete with slides thanks to the Chicago Park School PTA. We loved seeing all the smiles, laughter, and memories made as we wrapped up another wonderful year together! 💙🦆

A huge thank you to the Peardale Fire Department for visiting our center and giving the kiddos such a fun, hands-on experience! They loved learning all about what it means to be a firefighter and getting to explore and ask questions. We are so grateful for your time, kindness, and for creating such special memories for our little learners! 🚒❤️

This week was full of excitement in our preschool class as two of our baby chicks finally hatched! The kids were thrilled to help name them Lava Chicken and Keekeepop. We learned all about how chicks hatch, what they eat, and how to care for them while enjoying lots of fun baby chick crafts along the way. We also soaked up the beautiful weather outside and loved getting to hold baby bunnies during garden class.

A very special shoutout to our preschool teacher, Neveaya, for putting together such a thoughtful Mother’s Day gift for our preschool families. Teachers like you truly make all the difference!

This week we spent time reviewing our numbers and letters while practicing writing our names. The kids were especially excited learning all about our baby chicks that are about to hatch—and had so much fun helping name them! 🐣
