Congratulations to our 2026 Tech Trekkers!

We are incredibly proud to partner with the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Nevada County Branch to announce eight local middle school students selected for this year’s Tech Trek program!

These young leaders were chosen for their curiosity and passion for STEM. This July, they’ll head to UC Davis for an immersive week of hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math labs, living on campus and learning from women mentors in the field.

**Please join us in celebrating our 2026 cohort:**

✨ Alleina Alonso – Magnolia
✨ Hadley Honeycutt – Clear Creek
✨ Juliette King – Arete Charter
✨ Tiffany Le – Lyman Gilmore
✨ Camila Leiva – Seven Hills
✨ Melody Lime – Union Hill
✨ Wren Lingo – Yuba River Charter
✨ Fiona Moon – Grass Valley Charter

STEM participation often drops during the middle school years, but programs like Tech Trek ensure our students see that a career in discovery isn't just a possibility—it’s their future.

Thank you to the teachers who nominated these scholars and the local donors who make this life-changing experience possible at no cost to families. We can't wait to hear about your adventures at UC Davis!
