Hey! My name is Tanner Hamberlin and I’ll be serving as this year’s Vice President! Outside of school I love to hunt, fish, play baseball, and hang out with my friends. I am so excited to make connections with all of you and have an amazing year!

Nevada Union FFA, my name is Beck Herzog and I will be serving as your 26’-27’ Chapter Secretary! I will be going into my sophomore year at NU, and I am really excited to serve our chapter. Besides FFA, I love to ski, ski race, as well as wakeboard and play tennis. I am pumped to help make our chapter’s events fun and go smoothly. See you next year!

The 4-H Food Booth is back at the Nevada County Fair! Volunteers receive free fair admission, a meal, and the chance to support local youth programs. Check out the link for sign ups!

Attention all Nevada Union FFA fair exhibitors! Our Mandatory Pre-Fair Meeting is coming up on Wednesday, August 5th at 6:00 PM in the Ag Department Amphitheater.

This meeting is required for all fair exhibitors, and at least one parent or guardian must attend. This includes livestock and ag mechanics exhibitors.

We’ll go over important fair information, expectations, schedules, and answer any last-minute questions to help everyone have a successful fair. We can’t wait to see you there!

Hello! My name is Rylee Rist! I am going into my Junior year, and I am so excited to be serving as your chapter Treasurer! Outside of FFA I enjoy camping, riding dirt bikes, and spending time with my family and friends! FFA has allowed me to learn and grow in so many ways, and for the second year I will be raising market hogs for our county fair! I am looking forward to growing our member connections, and helping to make a successful year full of opportunities and memories!

Hi, I’m Eliana Henslee, and I’m excited to serve as your Nevada Union FFA Chapter Reporter during my senior year! Since my freshman year, FFA has given me so many opportunities and memories. Outside of FFA, I enjoy wakesurfing at Bullards Bar, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new places. I’m looking forward to sharing our chapter’s journey and highlighting all the amazing things happening at Nevada Union FFA this year!

Congratulations to Taylor Browning for being selected as a National FFA Convention delegate! We couldn’t be more proud!

To be selected as a National FFA Convention Delegate, candidates complete an application highlighting their leadership, qualifications, and experiences within FFA. From those applications, only 475 delegates are chosen to represent FFA members from entire U.S.

With California sending only about 36 delegates, being selected is an extraordinary honor. Taylor will proudly represent not only Nevada Union FFA, but also thousands of California FFA members on the national stage.

Congratulations, Taylor! We know you will represent us well. We are so proud!

My name is Ethan and I’m the new Chapter Sentinel plus a junior next year. Things I like to do out side of FFA is watch baseball because I’m a diehard Giants fan, go on hikes, play airsoft, and hangout with friends. I’m most excited to helping incoming ag students and showing them what FFA is about.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, our 2026–2027 Chapter Officer Team had the opportunity to attend our annual Officer Retreat at the Grass Valley Sportsman’s Lodge on Weaver Lake. During our time together, we accomplished so much! From developing our theme for the upcoming school year to participating in team bonding activities that strengthened our leadership skills.

A special thank you to the Grass Valley Sportsman’s Lodge for hosting our team! We had a great time! And thank you to our Chapter Advisors for putting all of the planning together for this trip and making it possible for us to grow as leaders!

This retreat gave us the opportunity to grow both personally and as a team. We are excited to bring our skills and ideas back to our chapter as we serve the members of Nevada Union FFA throughout the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking forward to an incredible year!
