Native to Nevada City and mother of two, Janet has been serving Nevada County families for over 30 years in varying capacities as a babysitter, a teacher for state and private preschools (Waldorf and Traditional), a senior staff member of the KARE Crisis Nursery, a full time nanny in and out of the home for children aged 6 months– 16 years, and also as an art docent and ski instructor for young children. Once upon a time Janet was a Firefighter/EMT for the State of California.
