*Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten teachers collaborate to be sure children are successfully ready for each milestone year
*Priority registration for Kindergarten
* Full day program (8am-3pm) after school care available beginning August 16th

Just a shout out to let you all know Miss Sara and Miss Macy are together again at Mt.St.Marys Academy. Miss Macy will be teaching the Preschool Class ( 2.5-3 year olds, must be potty trained) Miss Sara will be teaching the Transitional Kindergarten Class (4-5year Olds.)

MSM is excited to share that we now have a Pre-K program!

~This program is for students who missed the TK cut off.

~Students must be potty trained.

~Our Pre-K program curriculum is tailored for this age group.

~Classroom Philosophy:

We will be fostering healthy relationships, promoting eye-hand coordination, and supporting emotional and educational development.

Communication is an important skill in a child’s development; children need to be able to understand and be understood.

We will be teaching and explaining to children the different emotions and and feeling through expression.

This helps children to learn how to be positively problem solve.

Its official..... Creative Kids Preschool and Daycare has officially closed after serving hundreds of Nevada County families for the last 25.5 years.

We will miss all of our littles so much. We loved each and everyone of you just for being you! You will each hold a special place in our heart forever. Parents, thank you for your trust and for valuing our place in your children's lives. To all our teachers and aides thank you for being a part of our team ❤️

Congratulations Miss Cindy on your well deserved retirement. Its time to enjoy YOUR babies! How blessed you are to have Mr.Frank, your 4 daughters and son in laws and 9 grandchildren to love and keep you busy.

After 25 ½ wonderful years of providing early education, love, care and support to hundreds of Nevada County families, Creative Kids Preschool will be closing it's doors on November 13, 2020. Mrs.Cindy has decided it has finally come time for her to retire after 48 years in the childcare business.

We would like to Thank all of our families who entered our home away from home throughout the years. When you became apart of the Creative Kids Family you become a part of our hearts forever. There is not a child or their family that isn't remembered.

We have been blessed to have so many Nevada County families trust us to become caregivers and educator's for their children. We have watched families grow, we have witnessed many children graduate highschool and collage. We have had children come by just to say Hi after receiving their drivers license, we have had students stop us in the grocery stores and restaurants for hugs and "do you remember me" conversations. We have had the pleasure if providing care to many of our students children. We have also had the pleasure of employing a few of our former students over the years. Our hearts our full.

Throughout the years Mrs.Cindy and Staff have said countless times " we should write a book" friends of Creative Kids Preschool, big and small, you will forever be a part of our story.

( For anyone that has been inside Mrs.Cindys office, you know it is wall to wall covered in pictures of the children we've had and thank you notes from families that have grown up and left us. In honor of her retirement Mrs.Sara is putting together something special, anyone who would like to send letters of appreciation or just a simple hello to Miss Cindy, You may send them to my email address [email protected]….. if you'd rather write a handwritten letter please send message And I will get you an address to send them to in order to keep it a surprise)

Due to the fact that our power has not been restored today (Tues Sept 7th) and power is not expected to return until " sometime" tomorrow (Wed Sept 9)...... please expect Creative Kids to be closed tomorrow, Wednesday September 9th. You may check by calling the school in the morning There will be an update posted here by 6:00 a.m. as well as an email sent.
