Obligatory post-Nevada County Fair report from Mr. Teacher Kelsey...

To all of you who contributed in some way, no matter how small, to the continued success of the Tall Pines Pulled Pork and Grilled Cheese booth, I, along with the entire Tall Pines family, truly appreciate each and every one of you. Your hard work and action is the reason that I spent 107 hours at our amazing fairgrounds over the last week cooking up nearly 800 lbs of pork and over 60 gallons of BBQ sauce. You are the reason that dedicated multi-decade loyal consumers of a certain other battered and fried meat product came to our booth for the first time. You are the reason that a young gentleman, his friends and girlfriend ate at our booth every day of the fair and said, "it's the best food and the best food value of the entire fair." Calling this endeavor a fundraiser would be a vast oversimplification of something that is more importantly a "funraiser" and a "friendraiser" that ultimately strengthens our school and our community. With the utmost respect and gratitude, thank you all for making our week a huge success on all levels.
