Innovation insight: Become an expert in your field!

• Less than 3% of inventors make money on their inventions.
• Less than 1/2 of 1% of inventors using invention promotion companies are successful.
• The success rate of inventors who are experts in their field is probably closer to 80%-90%.

An emerging trend: Design is beginning to replace "sales/marketing". In other words, superior design and usability will outsell "superior sales/marketing hype".

This is very good news for inventors and innovators.
