We are saddened to inform you that our beloved Education Liaison and Tutor Jamie Sneed
passed away of unknown causes last night. We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, colleagues, and students during this difficult time. The impact she has had on our community is beyond measure. In her career she impacted the lives of well over a 1000 students. She will be deeply missed. The schools have been informed, so if you student is in need of support they are ready to assist. Childrens Behavioral Health is also ready to help and their number is 530-265-7147. Jamie was a valued
member of a very close team here at Nevada County Superintendent of Schools so we appreciate your grace while we grieve and work toward getting services back in place. I want to reiterate that you can reach out to the school for support or Children’s Behavioral Health and their number is 530-265-7147. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone, especially her family, as we heal through this tragic loss.
