Did you know, that when you help GLEPTO in our fundraising efforts or you attend the events we plan, you are helping us provide items needed for the amazing staff and students at George Long.

Here's a perfect example of where your support goes-

📖We recently were contacted by the fabulous library staff and they provided us with a book wish list. We were able to purchase over 200 new books from that list and help them restock those book shelves. Look at all those new books!📖

Our Coppernail Fund Day is just around the corner on Saturday, March 14th, and we are so close to having a full team!

As a reminder, the Copper Nail store in downtown Grass Lake is generously donating 100% of the day’s proceeds to the GLEPTO. To make this happen, we just need to provide the "people power" to help run the shop for the day.

We still have several open volunteer shifts and need your help with. In this role you could be helping with:

Store Helpers: Sorting clothes, organizing the famous baseball card collection, and tidying up the shop.

Customer Support: Bagging items and helping neighbors find treasures.

The "Fun" Table: Helping shoppers at the jewelry counter (it was a total blast last year!).

Attention George Long Elementary!

🚨We need you, or GLEPTO might go on vacation… permanently.

We love our volunteers! Whether you’ve popped popcorn or worked a shift as the Chaos Coordinator, you make our school amazing. But here’s the reality: GLEPTO is facing a "graduation" crisis. 🎓
A few of our veteran board members are graduating out this year, and we currently don't have enough leaders to fill their shoes. Without a full board, we can't legally or logistically keep the PTO running. That means no Warrior Wonderland, no Spooktacular, and less support for our teachers.

The "Not-So-Scary" Truth:

It’s not a full-time job: Most of our planning happens in short bursts and via text.

We’ll train you: Join now to "shadow" our current team and learn the ropes.

Your voice matters: Help decide how we spend funds for our students and teachers!

💚 We believe in magic... and our VOLUNTEERS! 🪄

An event like the An Enchanted Forest Daddy Daughter Dance doesn't just "happen"—it takes a village (or in this case, a forest crew!).

We want to send a GIANT thank you to our incredible volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes: 🍿 Our Popcorn Pixies and Concession Fairies who kept everyone fed. 🎟️ Our Raffle Guardians and Hydration Helpers. 🔨 Our Setup Sprites who spent hours stringing lights and "planting" trees.

Because of you, our dads and father figures could focus on making memories with their daughters while the "magic" ran smoothly in the background. We truly have the best community!
