May is Global Youth Traffic Safety Month. This is an annual campaign dedicated to raising awareness about the high mortality rates of young drivers and reducing teen traffic crashes worldwide. During the month of May, sponsors promote safe driving habits, seat belt usage, along with educational projects to highlight that crashes are the leading cause of catastrophic injuries for teen drivers.
