We’ve had a wonderful first week of DECATS! Our students have been learning, creating, making new friends, and having so much fun along the way. Check out our newsletter for some of this week’s highlights and special moments!

Our amazing rising 11th grade PSAT Team members from CHHS & GHS just wrapped up an awesome week of PSAT Camp! 🎉📚✏️

Throughout the week, students dove into reading and math skills as they began preparing for the PSAT and SAT they will take this fall. Their hard work, focus, and dedication to growing their skills was incredible to see!

A huge thank you to our outstanding PSAT Camp teachers — Mr. Ballauer, Ms. Elliott, Ms. Hoenig, Ms. McCormack, and Mr. Wevodau — for planning engaging and enriching lessons that helped students identify their strengths, target areas for growth, and create a plan for continued improvement.

We are so proud of these students and cannot wait to see all of their hard work pay off this fall!

Day 2 of DECATS Camp and things are getting wild around here! Watch out for disco robots and wanted wizards roaming the halls today. Campers are having a blast learning, creating, and making memories together!

Day 1 of DECATS is off to a great start! Students are already making new friends, learning lots, and having a wonderful time. We can’t wait to see all the fun and growth the rest of the week brings!

DECATS Camp kicks off Tuesday and we are busy getting everything ready for an amazing week! We can’t wait to welcome our students for days full of creativity, problem solving, collaboration, and fun learning experiences.

Our ASPIRE 5th grade students did an incredible job presenting their 20th Century American History projects! Students researched a decade from the 1900s, connected their learning to the Depth & Complexity icons, and created engaging visual trifolds along with short presentations to showcase their findings.

We were so impressed by the students’ creativity, research, critical thinking, and presentation skills. It was wonderful to see them dive deeper into history and make meaningful connections across decades and events.

A huge thank you to our amazing 5th grade ASPIRE teachers for facilitating this engaging learning opportunity and supporting our students throughout the project process. We are so proud of all of our ASPIRE students and the hard work they put into their presentations!

Last Thursday, CTMS proudly hosted a GT Symposium featuring 6th grade GTIS students and 7th grade GT CCR students!
Our 6th graders showcased their semester-long research projects through impressive research posters highlighting their findings, while our 7th graders presented innovative business plans that demonstrated their creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking.
The students did an outstanding job presenting their learning and sharing their hard work with families, staff, and peers. We are so proud of their dedication, growth, and confidence!
A huge thank you to Ms. Billman, Mr. Cobern, Dr. Otto, and Mr. Tucker for the time, guidance, and support they poured into making this event such a success for our students.

Day 4 of GT Awareness Week celebrates our incredible ASPIRE Elementary teachers, administrators, and students!

Today, we had the pleasure of hosting our ASPIRE Elementary Preview for newly qualified students and their families. Our outstanding student panel did a fantastic job answering questions and sharing their personal experiences in ASPIRE, giving families a glimpse into the program from the student perspective.

This morning, our teachers opened their classrooms for parent tours, giving families a firsthand look at the engaging learning experiences in ASPIRE. In the afternoon, they spent time welcoming our new students to their future classrooms, answering questions and helping them feel excited and confident about joining the program.

We are so proud of everyone who helped welcome our new families and show them what it truly means to be a Glenhope Gator and a part of the ASPIRE Academy! 💙🐊

We are proud to celebrate Jennifer Edwards on receiving the Friend of Children Award from CTMS!
This honor reflects her unwavering dedication, compassion, and commitment to making a difference in the lives of students.
