Strongest Gators this side of the Everglades! - (we would like to think so!) Grapeview School District had three of our amazing staff members selected to present at the CharacterStrong National Conference last week—and WOW, did they represent!

Huge congratulations to: Cindy Breeze, Principal; Andrea Goddard, Teacher; Lindsay Murphy, Teacher! A special thank you goes out to some incredible students who grew with CharacterStrong this past year and provided video interviews talking about everything they have learned from the program. CharacterStrong focuses on universally valued life skills and character traits such as responsibility, perseverance, honesty, and respect. The program is designed to strengthen school culture, help students build positive relationships, and support their ability to succeed in school and in life.

Thank you, Cindy, Lindsay, Andrea (and team Grapeview)—we are so proud of your hard work and dedication!

🐾 Special Visitors at Grapeview Elementary! 🐾

Yesterday, our 5th graders had some very special guests! We were thrilled to welcome Maureen, her son Rainier, and two amazing pups, Beverly and Klaus, from Guide Dogs for the Blind. 🦮❤️

Our students loved learning all about what it takes for these incredible dogs to become guides, as well as the important jobs they do once they are fully trained.

A huge shoutout to our amazing students—they were so excited but incredibly well-mannered! They learned a super important rule: when a guide dog is on duty, we don't touch them so they can focus on their jobs. 🚫✋🐶

Thank you to Maureen, Rainier, Beverly, and Klaus for sharing your time and inspiring our students!
