Congratulations to our first 2023 Fulbright winner, Sarah Kovacic!
A double major in history and German, Sarah will be taking courses at the University of Vienna, teaching English, and partnering with Exilarte Zentrum to archive and digitize music by composers persecuted during the Holocaust.

Our second Fulbright winner is Zoya Gheisar '23!
Zoya is a double major in history and data analytics with a minor in Spanish. She will be teaching English in Colombia as well as partnering with an organization to provide youth leadership development. Great job, Zoya — we can't wait to see the amazing things you do!

German 311 students took some time out to visit a forest after talking about them during the semester.

On a field trip to Noor Islamic Cultural Center on October 23rd,
(Dublin, Ohio) Beginner and intermediate Arabic students got the chance to visit the Arabic Saturday school, sit in different classes, and interact with Arabic speakers (teachers and kids.) They also explored the different outreach programs that the Cultural Center offers, observed the afternoon prayers and listened to a lecture. The day ended with a warm Middle Eastern lunch at Lavash.
