The Department of Cinema's curriculum focuses on a combination of film/digital production and the study of the aesthetics, history, and theory of cinema.
Denison’s Department of Cinema is dedicated to the in-depth study of cinema in all its forms. Our curriculum integrates film/digital production and cinema studies, so that majors master the art and craft of filmmaking while gaining a rich knowledge of cinema history, aesthetics, and theory. We firmly believe that these two approaches to studying the art of cinema compliment and enrich one another.

Very excited for the team at Loose Films whose feature, "Poser", was just selected by the IFP as 1 of 6 films to be part of the Narrative Lab fellowship program. We couldn't be more proud of these alums and the fantastic work they do. Congratulations to all the cast and crew on what promises to be a great film.
