The Department of Cinema's curriculum focuses on a combination of film/digital production and the study of the aesthetics, history, and theory of cinema.

Denison’s Department of Cinema is dedicated to the in-depth study of cinema in all its forms. Our curriculum integrates film/digital production and cinema studies, so that majors master the art and craft of filmmaking while gaining a rich knowledge of cinema history, aesthetics, and theory.
