If your child needs help in reading, we start tomorrow!

Do you have a 1st or 2nd grader that needs help learning to blend words and is still working toward fluency with many K and 1st grade sight words? My private tutoring is FULL, so I’m opening up a couple group options and this level is first.

Our amazing weekly class will begin next Tuesday at 3PM EST. It will be ongoing which means your child can attend weekly or monthly. You can purchase classes individually or in a monthly package- I want this to be a flexible option for busy families!

We will have learning FUN and work on those phonics, sight words, comprehension, and fluency skills!

What's cool about this program is that you get to choose your own schedule so that your child gets as much of what they need as you choose! This also keeps the rate flexible----->Dropping in daily or weekly will still make a great positive impact for your child. 💟

I want to be honest with you- Summer learning loss is a REAL thing. In fact, it can erase gains from the school year and we want to keep all of those gains they have worked hard for! Of course, we all need to have fun and decompress during summer- AND I want your child to have ALL OF THE FUN, but I also want them to grow and avoid any summer learning losses-----> So, I thought I would create a program with FUN and CONNECTION built right in!

Here are many of the details: Camp CREATE & GROW will begin June 14thand will run for 8 weeks, 3 days per week (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.) Kids in grades K-2/3 (depending on their interests and developmental level) will meet at 9AM-10:15 EST. Grades 3-5 will meet 10:30-11:45 PM. Middle schoolers will meet 11:45-1 PM. Camp will be led primarily by Miss Ashley Matheny AND special guests who are experts in their fields and will be sharing amazing hands-on lessons with us. We will learn, play, create, meditate, build, serve, socialize, and more!
I aim to keep groups small-ish, so be sure to fill this out, even if you are only partially sure. If your kids have friends that would enjoy coming with them, feel free to share this!

🥳Monthly recap of my students’ wins🌈💜 because they deserve to be celebrated. Life’s too short to keep these kinds of things quiet- Let’s celebrate together for a moment!🌈💫🦄:
💫One middle schooler had difficulty reading more than one word in a row last Summer and just finished her second chapter book with me!
💫Another amazing kiddo who was struggling with basic phonics skills worked incredibly hard and utilizing the supports we created, read her first chapter book!
💫Two brothers have really skyrocketed their reading and writing capacity.
💫A reluctant writer is flourishing in our classes! Within a couple months of tutoring, he has successfully written multiple styles of writing and has a document of 3000+ words!
💫Another child is improving his learning stamina and independence. He has went from doing math with prompting 100% of the time for all steps, to only needing it once or twice per math task. ..And these WINS are just from tutoring students! There’s so much more happening in our virtual home school!

I have a new math class starting this week! I will be helping older kids struggling with the basics 💞

In this multi-week course, I will meet each student where they are and help them build foundational math skills so that they will be equipped to be a rockstar at math! This course also aims to ignite a love for math within each student!

What are the top lessons you’ve learned this year?

Mine:
✨Almost nothing goes as planned, so throw out every plan at least once.
✨Growing a business and launching new programming at the craziest possible time=amazing!
✨✨”Hard” things are doABLE.
✨ ✨✨Connecting with others in whatever ways available has never been more valuable
✨✨✨✨With faith in God and self, ALL things are possible...and when they don’t seem possible, watching Hallmark Christmas 🎄 movies with a pet and/or some wine, even in the summer, can help I’ve heard 😂😇✨💕

I can’t wait to hear what your top lessons of this year are ⬇️ It’s crazy that 2020 is coming to a close and there’s less than a month until the new year!
