The inaugural three-day conference brought together civic and community engagement professionals to connect, learn, and think more deeply about our work. 🙌

We’re excited to see the forum return next year... and Triple C member institutions will be welcome to attend!

🇺🇸 In honor of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, Triple C member campuses are participating in "9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance" through projects that bring students, campus communities, and local partners together in service.

Through The Alliance’s partnership with 911 Day and AmeriCorps, Triple C campus partners – Denison University, The The University of Akron and Marietta College – received grant funding to support a project focused on addressing local needs and creating meaningful community impact.

More to come on each of their service projects!

For the 25th anniversary of 9/11, Triple C member campuses are bringing students, campus communities, and local partners together for service projects that honor those we lost and strengthen the communities we’re part of.

We’re grateful to Marietta College for being part of this effort and putting the spirit of service into action!

💡What if getting help on campus felt less like asking for help and more like walking into a place designed for students?

This article highlights Temple University’s new Essential Needs Hub, bringing multiple student supports together under one roof.

It’s a model we’ve seen make a real difference through Triple C’s Student Resource Centers, a “one-stop shop” where students can connect with resources without having to navigate multiple offices or figure out where to start.

Making support visible, accessible and part of the everyday campus experience can help reduce stigma and make asking for help feel normal.

Temple University’s new hub centralizes essential needs resources to reduce the navigation burden and stigma students can face seeking help.

The conversation will explore memorialization, the lasting human impact of 9/11, and how remembrance can inform service and civic responsibility today.

For higher education and community partners, this is an opportunity to reflect on whose stories are preserved, how our understanding evolves, and how we carry remembrance forward.

Join us this week for the 9/11 Memory & Service: 25 Years Later, a special webinar featuring Marita Sturken, PhD, of New York University and Lynn Hallarman, MD, independent health-science journalist and palliative care physician.

Together, they will explore the role of memorials in shaping our understanding of 9/11, the stories of responders, and the health consequences that continue decades after the attacks.

As we commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, this conversation invites us to reflect on memory, service, and our civic responsibility to carry these stories forward.
