It’s kindergarten screening time! One of our favorite times of year is welcoming and celebrating our new kindergartners and their families.

Safety Village was featured on Spectrum News! Once again, a big thank you to Claire Weaver and GRD for organizing an amazing opportunity for our kindergarteners.

Granville teen turns crash into safety lesson for kindergartners Granville High School sophomore Claire Weaver created Safety Village after she was hit by a school transportation van in a crosswalk in 2023.

In Global Language class, third graders practiced how to order food and take orders in Spanish by working in groups to create and perform fun restaurant skits as customers and waiters/ waitresses. We are so proud of their creativity and enthusiasm as they brought their “restaurants” to life.

Congratulations to all the 3rd graders who participated in this year’s Battle of the Books! The competition was exciting and fierce. A big congratulations to our winners: Berkeley, Lucy, Rylan, Lyla, and Olivia. This is no easy task, and they proved they know their books well!

Summer break still requires family time, parental involvement, tough conversations, and following schedules. Enjoy the quality time during a long break but also take advantage of it to maintain positive family relationship-building.
