Don't forget to visit the Granville FFA at the Fair next week! They're working hard to get ready. Free fair ticket and meal or milkshake if you volunteer for a shift with the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Washington County Food Booth or Milk Parlor (Sign up links on their page). Go Horde!

12 Month Staff Potluck! While the teaching staff is away, the 12 month staff works throughout the summer to prepare for the following school year. It’s a very busy time behind the scenes!

Near the end of the summer, the Administrators host an annual luncheon and show off their cooking chops by preparing a potluck to share with summer staff. Turns out, Superintendent Hall can cook and makes a mean Pub Sauce and Chili Sauce! 🌭🍔

It’s a great way to take a breather before the final sprint to the first day of school.

We can’t wait to see students and teaching staff soon!

Tomorrow, Thursday 8/20 is the deadline to apply for the Granville High School paid student-intern positions for the MJT Afterschool Program.

Two openings! Transportation included!

Details:

Monday - Friday, School Days
2:45 PM - 4:45 PM at MJT
Student will be mentored and supervised by a certified teacher and teaching aide/assistant
Student can take the bus to MJT from Jr/Sr High and can take a bus home too.
Paid $16 per hour
Work one semester, two or all three!
​Must have working papers completed. (Get from Nurse Hover at Jr/Sr High School)
​Age 16+ preferred.
Age 14+ may be considered with experience and staff reference.

How to check email without your school computer during the summer? Download the free Gmail app or visit Gmail website and login with your student email and password.

Pember Library has free computers to use and free Wifi access too (outside bench and inside too).
