Academy has been attending Advanced Training for about eight weeks and we recently learned that she will start her Team Training on November 4. Then she will go off to work as a facility dog in an elementary school. Academy loves children and we are happy that she will be working with young students. I haven’t kept up with her page very well recently and I will be going back through some old photos to post here before she leaves to begin her exciting new career. October 2024

We spent a lovely, sunny afternoon at Penn State’s Maple Harvest Festival learning about pancakes, trees and maple syrup. Academy calmly met new people, especially children, and learned to relax in a crowded, active environment. She jumped into the shuttle van like a pro and scrunched into the tiny space at my feet.
