Dear Willow Elementary Families,
We are excited to welcome everyone back for the 2026–2027 school year! We hope you'll join us for our Willow Elementary Back-to-School Night on Monday, August 17, from 5:00–7:00 p.m.
As part of Back-to-School Night, we will hold our General Membership Meeting at 5:00 p.m. At this meeting, current PTA members will have the opportunity to participate in the following important PTA business:
President-Elect Election
The Nominating Committee has completed its process and has nominated Julie Evans for the office of President-elect.
The membership will vote on the nomination at the August 17 General Membership Meeting.
Proposed 2026–2027 PTA Budget
The proposed PTA budget for the 2026–2027 school year will be presented to the membership for approval.

Proposed Bylaws Renewal and Amendments
Our PTA bylaws are due for renewal, and the proposed bylaws will be presented to the membership for approval.
The proposed changes are:
Membership dues: Increase from $7.00 to $10.00 per year.
Vice Presidents: Increase the maximum number of additional Vice Presidents from 3 to 5.

We are sharing these items in advance so our PTA members have an opportunity to review the proposed budget, President-elect nomination, and bylaws before the meeting.

We encourage all current PTA members to attend and participate in the business of our association. Following the General Membership Meeting, we will continue with our Back-to-School Night activities from 5:00–7:00 p.m. and look forward to seeing all of our Willow families!
