🏃‍♂️🏆 **WHAT A RACE!** 🏆🏃‍♂️

We are so very proud of the Calhoun County Cross Country Boys Team for placing 🥇 1st Overall at the Clay County Meet last evening! What an incredible accomplishment! 👏👏

And we are especially proud of our two LKVCS brothers, who had an impressive finish of 🥇 1st place and 12th place! What a wonderful accomplishment for these young men and a moment that makes us a VERY PROUD LKVCS FAMILY!💜

God has given each one of us special talents, abilities, and gifts, and what a blessing it is to watch these young men work hard to develop and use what the Lord has given them. Their strength, endurance, determination, and perseverance are wonderful examples of what can happen when we work hard and give God the glory! 🙏

📖 “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” — 1 Peter 4:10

Congratulations to all the runners and coaches! 🎉 We are so proud of you! Keep working hard, keep encouraging one another, and keep using the gifts God has given you for His honor and glory!💜🏃‍♂️🏆

🎉 **YEAR 11 IS OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY!** 🎉

What a wonderful way to begin another year at LKVCS! Year 11 started with lots of new faces, new families, and new members joining our LKVCS family. We are so thankful for each one the Lord has brought our way! ❤️

And, of course, the Lord blessed us with LOTS of good food!😊 We are especially thankful to Brooksville Baptist Church for blessing us with a wonderful breakfast. The children also enjoyed a lunch of pepperoni rolls and macaroni and cheese—definitely a school favorite! 😋

But beyond the food, the fellowship, and the excitement of a new school year, we are most thankful for the opportunity to provide a Christ-centered education where children are taught, encouraged, and given the opportunity to grow in His Word.📖✝️

We are excited to see what the Lord has in store for Year 11 and are praying for a year filled with learning, growing, serving, and discovering the gifts He has given each child.

“For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.” — Romans 11:36

Most of all, we are thankful that LKVCS is more than just a school—it is a family. ❤️ We are blessed to walk alongside our parents, teachers, and students as we work together to encourage, teach, pray for, and guide these children in the ways of the Lord. When school and family work together with Christ at the center, we can help build a foundation that will last far beyond the classroom.

Year #11 started out as a blessing from the Lord

The hot days of summer will soon be coming to an end, and a new school year will begin!

As we prepare for another year, our goal reaches far beyond academics. We want to teach children that their mind, body, and soul were created by God, and that each child has been wonderfully and uniquely made by Him.

At LKV Christian School, we want our young people to understand that God is the Creator, and they are His creation. We want to train them to know Him, serve Him, honor Him, and use the talents and abilities He has placed within them for His glory.

Every child is different. Every child has gifts. Our desire is to help each one discover those God-given talents, develop them, and learn how they can be used to serve the Lord and others.

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” — Psalm 139:14

What a privilege it is to help train the next generation—not simply to prepare them for a career, but to help them understand who created them, whose they are, and why they were created.❤️

The summer days are winding down, and a new school year brings another opportunity to learn, grow, serve, and discover God’s purpose for each life.

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️ Hard Work, Determination & Faith! 🙏

This past weekend, we were so proud to watch two of our LKVCS brothers work hard and push themselves as they competed in the local cross country meet. Their goal was to finish strong, and they did just that!! 💪

What makes us even more proud is seeing young men learning to use the abilities God has given them—to work hard, persevere, encourage one another, and give their very best.

📖 “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.”
— Colossians 3:23

That is the kind of lesson that reaches far beyond a finish line. God gives each child different gifts and abilities, and we want to encourage them to develop those gifts and use them for His glory.

We are proud of every student who participate, as well as all the coaches who poured time, encouragement, and effort into these young athletes. ❤️

And what a blessing it was to see prayer being a part of the day, as teams gathered together and prayed before beginning their races. 🙏 What a wonderful reminder that competition can be about more than winning—it can be about character, perseverance, fellowship, and honoring the Lord.

Keep running, keep working, keep praying, and keep using what God has given you! 🏃‍♂️💜

FAMILIES & SCHOOLS—WORKING TOGETHER FOR OUR CHILDREN ❤️🙏

There is a great deal being said today about the emotional and mental struggles children are facing. An article attributed to Dr. Luis Rojas Marcos, discusses the growing challenges facing children and the importance of returning to the basics—loving adults who are emotionally present, clear boundaries, responsibility, healthy routines, outdoor activity, creative play, social interaction, and time away from constant technology and stimulation. At LKVCS, we believe this is not the responsibility of the school alone, and it is not the responsibility of parents alone. It is a responsibility we must share.

Families and schools must work TOGETHER.

Children need parents who love them, guide them, teach them responsibility, set boundaries, and make time for them. They also need a school that reinforces those same values every day—one that teaches discipline, respect, responsibility, kindness, character, and the importance of doing what is right.

Most importantly, children need a sound and solid foundation in God’s Word. When home and school are working together, children receive a consistent message about who they are, how they should treat others, how to handle disappointment and responsibility, and where their hope and direction come from.

We don't believe children need more distractions.
They need connection.
They don't need everything they want.
They need to learn what they truly need.
They don't need to be entertained every moment.
They need time to think, create, play, work, and grow.

And they need adults who are willing to stand together and say, “This is what is best for our children.”

“And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children...”
— Deuteronomy 6:6–7

That is what we believe at LKVCS.

We believe the home and the school should not work against one another—they should stand side by side, united in giving children the sound, solid foundation they need to live an enriched and purposeful life as God intended.

Because educating a child is more than academics.

It is preparing a life.
It is building character.
It is strengthening families.
And it begins with God.❤️🙏
