UPDATE: Leadership Class change! We now have combined Apprentice (Advanced) and Practice (Beginning) Scholars into 2 class times to accommodate families.
LEADERSHIP 11-1: FULL (waitlist open)
LEADERSHIP 1-3: 3 openings (for both beginning and advanced)

(Cancellations can happen, feel free to request to be placed on the waitlist if classes fill.)

LANGUAGE & MATH ON THE MOVE CLASSES-
EXCURSIONS 1 (ages 5-6): 3 openings
EXCURSIONS 2 (ages 7-8): 5 openings
EXCURSIONS 3 (ages 9-10): 8 openings
SOJOURNS IN LANG., MATH & SCIENCE (ages 10-12)-
TUES. CLASS (for boys): 4 openings
WED. CLASS (for girls): 1 openings

If you live in the Tooele Valley and would like to check out some in-person (project-based and literature inspired) Math, Language, Science & Leadership class options with an end-of-year field trip opportunity for your students ages 5-18, feel free to give us a look! Weekly classes are 2 hours long and are capped at 10 students each for ages 5-18. Outdoor team-building games, memorization-through-music & poetry and principles from "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" are an integral part of what we do at all levels! Sojourns classes also learn Greek and Latin roots, memorize inspirational quotes and do inspired research presentations. Our Leadership Class options (ages 12-18) offer engaging team-building games and leadership simulations while focusing on classics and inspired recitations to learn about proper self-governance, effective leadership and communication principles. We'd love to welcome you over to join in our learning adventures!

"Hunchback of Notre Dame" tickets for Hale Center Theatre- WAITLIST

**Tickets were offered first on the Field Trip Lady page to followers on Monday, February 23 and went much faster than anticipated. But, If you were hoping for tickets would you please fill out the google form below to apply for the waitlist? I was able to secure Hale Center Theater tickets to see "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" on Wednesday, April 1st at 12:30. If you would like to be the first to respond- click on this google form and fill it out. We only have 150 tickets available and I wanted to give my followers a chance to reply, first. I will be publishing this form solely on this page until Thursday, February 26th. Then, I will be posting it on the Tooele Homeschoolers page. Hope you can join us!

Update: **Great news!!! There are more tickets available to us! Also- the performance is expanded for all students over 10 years old and up! Absolutely no babes in arms or young siblings, but all grades 5 and up including chaperones and parents are welcome!

Announcing a local Utah Symphony performance at Deseret Peak High School on Friday, Jauary 23rd from 11:00-12:20 for Tooele County homeschoolers! FREE mental health wellness training coming up (made possible through a Tooele County grant) from Interweave Solutions for adults and teens at Grantsville City Library! Interweave has been all over the country and overseas sharing these valuable trainings. (Similar to emotional self-reliance courses.) Come and get certified as Wellness Facilitators in order to bring these emotional wellness skills to your own families and communities. Thank you, Shaulee Curtis and Interweave Solutions! Dear Field Trip Families- it is with some sadness that I announce that our annual Tulip Festival Field Trip is no longer possible. The rules have changed at Thanksgiving Point and according to the website field trips for home-schoolers are not allowed during the months of March-May at any property on Thanksgiving Point including Ashton Gardens. I hope you are able to get out and enjoy this beautiful time of year in nature in some fashion with your families, though, despite this hiccup. My sincere apologies.

Join us for an OPEN HOUSE in Grantsville at 17 North Bowery Street, from 11-3 on September 5th to explore the classroom and get a feel for our space. Light refreshments served. Come meet some of your classmates! This will be the last day to sign up for yearly classes, but you are always welcome to join us on a monthly basis in the classroom. Come see what we are all about!
