Our PHE Eagles have been having a blast showing their school spirit and supporting our Calhoun County Devils during Spirit Week! From creative outfits to smiles throughout the hallways, our students and staff are proudly cheering on the Devils as they kick off their homecoming events!

We love seeing our Eagles come together to celebrate school pride, teamwork, and community spirit. Stay tuned for more Spirit Week highlights as the fun continues!

Please check your child’s backpack tonight for the Pleasant Hill Elementary T-Shirt Size Form! 👕

Our wonderful PTO is purchasing a T-shirt for EVERY student, and we need to make sure we have the correct size for your child. Please complete the form and return it to school by Wednesday, September 2nd.

Pleasant Hill would like to give a huge shoutout to our students who achieved Perfect Attendance last week!

At Pleasant Hill, we LOVE when our students show up! ❤️ Attendance is one of the leading factors in student success, and we want to celebrate those students who make being present a priority each day.

Every Monday we will place the names of all students who had perfect attendance during the previous week onto a random prize wheel. We will spin the wheel and select one winner from each grade level to earn a spot in the "Eagles Nest" for outstanding attendance that week! 🦅✨

Keep showing up, working hard, and soaring high, Eagles! We can't wait to recognize more students throughout the year.

We would love for you to JOIN US for Cooties & Cupcakes on Tuesday, September 1st at 1:00 PM!

“Cooties” is a fun puzzle-type game, and families will enjoy a make-and-take activity with their child. We will also share important information and tips to help your child succeed in 3rd grade.

Good attendance pays off at Pleasant Hill Elementary! Students who attend school every day and arrive on time are able to join in on our weekly Lucky Duck hunt when it pops up during the week!

🎉 It’s Friday night — that means football, band, and our incredible Feature Twirlers! 🎉

Before they take the field tonight, we’re celebrating the outstanding accomplishments of our students who compete in major twirling competitions all year long. They work hard all year to learn new skills and keep their skills sharp.

🌟 This summer, each of these talented young women represented Calhoun County at NBTA (National Baton Twirling Association) Nationals at AYOP (America’s Youth on Parade), where hundreds of twirlers showcased their talents — truly the best of the best at this level. 🌟

🔴 Carissa Sands — Calhoun County Middle/High School, Beginner Pageant
🔴 Trinity Probasco — Calhoun County Middle/High School, Intermediate Pageant
🔴 Scarlett Probasco — Pleasant Hill Elementary, Juvenile Miss Majorette
🔴 Sara Moorehead‑Hubbard — 2026 CCS Graduate, Beginner Pageant

🏅 Trinity Probasco earned 9th place in National Pageant Solo and finished 14th overall.
🏅 Sara Moorehead‑Hubbard placed 10th in pageant modeling, and she is now a Feature Twirler for West Virginia State University.

❤️ Their hard work, skill, and commitment make our community proud. ❤️
