We are incredibly proud to celebrate three of our amazing iForward students who absolutely dominated at the Wisconsin High School Rodeo State Finals in Richland Center! Because of the flexibility of online learning at iForward, these student-athletes can balance their rigorous training schedules with their education—and it is clearly paying off! We are always looking for ways to shine the spotlight on our students and showcase their accomplishments outside of the virtual classroom!

Join us in congratulating these phenomenal competitors as they head to Lincoln, Nebraska to compete at the National High School Finals Rodeo from July 19-25! 🐎

Talk about a clean sweep! Kallie put on a masterclass and walked away with an incredible lineup of titles:

🥈 Reserve Champion Girls Cutter
👑 All Around Cowgirl
🐴 AQHA Horse of the Year honors for her horse, "Gold from Home" (aka Jack)!

⭐ Caylee Check (Tomah, WI)
Caylee showed incredible skill and consistency across multiple events, finishing the year at the top of the state pack:
🥉 3rd place in Breakaway Roping
🏅 4th place in Girls Cutting
🏅 4th place in Reining Cow Horse

⭐ Macallister Rud (Mondovi, WI)
Macallister brought his A-game to the arena and proved he's one of the best in the state, securing a national ticket with a fantastic finish:
🥉 3rd place in Team Roping

We are super proud of the hard work, dedication, and grit these students show both in the arena and in their online classrooms. Safe travels and best of luck in Nebraska! Bring home those buckles! 🏆🍂

📚✨ 5th Grade Book Club Connects with History Through Hana's Suitcase ✨📚

Our amazing 5th-grade book club recently read Hana's Suitcase by Karen Levine—a powerful biography about a Japanese Holocaust educator piecing together the life of a young girl, Hana Brady, who perished at Auschwitz. 🧳❤️

The story deeply moved our students, prompting them to reflect on family, memory, and history. After finishing the book, they wrote heartfelt letters to Lara Hana Brady (Hana’s niece) sharing how much Hana's legacy impacted them. 📝👇

To the club's absolute delight, Lara Brady wrote back! 💌 She thanked the students for their empathy and shared a deeply moving, first-hand account written by her late father, George Brady (Hana’s older brother and a Holocaust survivor). He recalled their happy childhood in Czechoslovakia, the devastating N**i occupation, and Hana’s remarkable bravery—like saving her weekly treat for him in the ghetto. 🍞💔

While Hana’s life was tragically cut short, her childhood dream of becoming a teacher has finally come true. Through her story, she is teaching children all over the world about resilience, love, and humanity. 🌍🕊️

Lara closed her letter with a special charge for our students: "The world is a deeply complicated place, but we need the next generation (you!) to find creative solutions to the world’s problems."

We are incredibly proud of our book club members for engaging so thoughtfully with such an important piece of history! 🌟👏
