Thank you Karen Maertins for a wonderful class presentation on machine needles and thread! The 25 ladies that came out learned new things about changing your needles often, what thread to use with certain size needles, how needles and thread are made! Can't wait for your class on "What are all these machine feet and what do they do?" Coming soon to the Schoolhouse 😉

Giving back is one of the best things our ladies do! Today was making dog beds for the Veterans support dogs! Finished 11! Great job ladies!!

January can be a time to choose projects for the new year. Organizing patterns, fabrics, tools and sometimes buying new fabric to spark creativity. If you have quilting fabric you just don’t like anymore, might never use and just need to de-stash, please contact Hugo Ladies Club. We would love your donation to help with our comfort program.

Throughout the year, our ladies put together 300+ quilts to donate to our community. Some of the programs we gift quilts to are Sleep in Heavenly Peace, CASA, Pregnancy Care Center, Spears Cancer Center, 3 different units at Asante Hospital and many more. Your gift of fabric helps us donate quilts to these special places to give some extra comfort in time of need.

You can message us through our page or you’re welcome to come out to the schoolhouse with your donation. We are open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9AM to 11:30 AM and would love for you to come to Hugo and see what we’re working on. It’s a busy place of sewing! Thank you so much for considering Hugo Ladies Club.
