Introducing our new kindergarten teacher!

Hello, my name is Shelly, and I am excited to join the school family as the kindergarten teacher this year.

I bring 30 years of teaching experience from Grant Public Schools, where I had the privilege of working with students in a variety of grade levels. Fifteen of those years were spent teaching Young Fives, a role that deepened my love for helping young learners build a strong foundation for future success. In addition to my classroom experience, I served as the Children’s Librarian at the Grant Public Library for six years, where I enjoyed fostering a love of reading and learning within the community.

I am a member of New Life Fellowship Church in Grant, and my faith is an important part of my life. I am grateful for the opportunity to teach in a Christian school where I can support students not only academically but also spiritually as they grow in their relationship with God.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy camping, thrift shopping, reading, and spending time with my family. These activities bring me joy and help me stay connected to the people and experiences that matter most.

I am looking forward to getting to know each student and family and partnering with you throughout the school year. I am excited to see all that God has in store for us as we learn, grow, and serve together.
