Dr. Dumbuya's 8th grade ELA class kicked off their Hamlet unit with a pre-reading cold case interactive activity where students were detectives using lab results, autopsy reports, witness statements, physical evidence, etc. To determine which characters were victims, which characters were suspects, possible motives, and methods, etc. The class will reference these as they read to see how their inferences connect to the actual text.
