Mustang Families—Meet the Teacher is almost here! 🏫

Join us Monday, August 17 from 5:00–6:30 PM! Come meet your teacher, visit your classroom, grab some dinner, and get ready for a great first day!

🚗🚌 Please come ready to let your child’s teacher know how your child will get home:
• First day of school
• First week of school
• Remainder of the school year

📝 Registration Reminder: All required registration information must be complete before a class can be assigned. If you still have items to submit, please try to have those turned in before 10:00 AM Monday. If you can’t, please still come to Meet the Teacher—we want to see you!

Are you looking for a way to make a difference at our school and support our students, teachers, and families? We are currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers to fill the following PTO Board positions:

Serving on the PTO is a great opportunity to share your ideas, meet other families, and help create meaningful experiences for our school community.

¿Sabías que leer un poco y practicar matemáticas con frecuencia durante el verano ayuda a prevenir la pérdida de aprendizaje? Aproximadamente el 20% de los avances en matemáticas se pierden durante el verano cuando los estudiantes no continúan practicando sus habilidades. ¡Hagamos un poco juntos en el porche para marcar una gran diferencia y seguir fortaleciendo lo que nuestros estudiantes han aprendido!

¡La cuenta regresiva para el inicio de nuestro Proyecto de Aprendizaje de Verano en el Porche continúa!

☀️ ¡Faltan 2 días!

En el porche, disfruten de 🌭 hot dogs y útiles escolares proporcionados por Ark of Highland Lakes y el tráiler ANDY para toda la familia. 📚 Después, su lector podrá elegir dos libros nuevos de la biblioteca de HLES para disfrutar y llevar a casa. ¡Podrán renovarlos el próximo martes! 💻 También habrá Chromebooks disponibles para completar los desafíos de matemáticas en IXL.

🎓✨ 5th Grade Celebration ✨🎓

What an unforgettable celebration for our amazing 5th graders! We are so proud of each and every one of our students as they close this chapter and get ready for middle school. 💜

Thank you to all of our parents, families, teachers, and volunteers who helped make this day so special. From donations and decorations to snacks, gifts, and support we truly couldn’t have done it without you! Your kindness and generosity helped create lasting memories for our kiddos. 🥳

To our 5th graders: keep believing in yourselves, work hard, and never stop shining. Middle school is lucky to have you! 🌟

We are so excited to celebrate our amazing 5th graders as they get ready for their next big adventure middle school! 🎓💜 We want to make this celebration extra special and memorable for all of our kiddos.
