Mary Leigh Bishop Isenhour, age 64, of Lenoir passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Caldwell UNC Health Care. She was born March 7, 1957 in Caldwell County to Norval Bishop and the late Imogene Jones Bishop. Memorial services will be held Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 1200 P.M. at

To all of the class of 1975 we are sad to announce that we will be postponing our 45th class reunion until the spring of 2021. We as a committee feel that the health of our community is still at risk for the spread of the Corona Virus. There still is the fact that large gatherings indoors is still not an option. The committee will still be in planning mode to have the best reunion with the health and safety of all our classmates and family. When we have a new date for the reunion we will let you know. Please stay healthy and have a great summer with family and friends.

Vester Paul Haney, age 63, of Lenoir passed away Friday, May 1, 2020 at his residence. He was born March 17, 1957 in Caldwell County to the late Paul and Ruby McGarr Haney. Mr. Haney was a truck driver for Performance Food Service. Those left to cherish his memory include

Due to the self distancing in order to try and stay coronavirus free, we are postponing the reunion committee meeting Sunday the 22nd. The reunion committe wll be meeting 02/16/2020 at 3pm at the home of Becky and David Greer 2107 Olde Farm Rd., Hudson NC 28638 (Olde Farm Development behind the old Bush Olds Car Dealership). If you would like to be a committe member for our 45 year reunion please join us. We will need to update our contact information for our classmates. Would you please take a moment and send your update contact info to me at [email protected] or send me or any of the committee members on fb messenger. Also, if there are any classmates that have passed away since the 40 year reunion, please let us know so we can add them to our current list.

Committe members to date are: Becky Helton Greer, Marie Rowe-Copperknoll, Marcy Carswell Bolick, Robert Lail, Ron Hughes, Beverly Smith Brooks, Tyra Brown Edwards and Sherry Williams Craig.
We are going to have a great time organizing this next reunion. We hope to have a great turnout.
