The school-age group investigated bridges. They learned why different types of bridges were used for different purposes. They also participated in a Straw Bridge Challenge where they used straws to build what they hoped was the strongest bridge. Stay tuned!

Our School-Age Group engaged in activities focused on water and dams last week. They explored the properties of water and represented water scenes using paint and other creative materials. In small groups, they created dams and presented them to the group. We tested the strength of each dam by adding water. Stay tuned for the presentation videos! Our School-Age Group launched into summer with a study of space! We explored the solar system and constellations. We engaged in creative writing about space and aliens. We used art materials to create our own galaxy art and created some fun aliens! *Photographs were taken by Laikynn Shuffler. He was a great photographer of the week!
