The 2026–2027 GB2 training calendar is live.

Here’s what’s changed:

• Texas and Tennessee are back
• Additional Northeast and Southeast dates
• Several entry-level courses shortened to 3 days
• More 2–3 day formats
• Lower tuition across multiple offerings
• Updated packing lists with more accessible, field-proven gear options
• 2026 and 2027 now open for registration

We didn’t lower standards.

We removed unnecessary friction.

Every course has limited capacity. When a class fills, it closes.

The last few years have been both challenging and motivating. The lessons learned throughout that time culminated in a final evaluation in early November that I was fortunate to be invited to.
Even though the specific evaluation standards were intentionally unknown, the focus on overall fitness, precise navigation, and consistent personal effort made the process feel fair and purposeful. I appreciate the way the course emphasized giving our best rather than meeting any single metric, and I’m grateful to have successfully passed the evaluation. Thanks to GB2 for ongoing guidance and for creating an environment that encourages growth and confidence. Time to get another hat dirty!

Congrats to the recent students of our Master Navigator course! This is one of the toughest yet most rewarding of our course offerings. Strong work all!
Meanwhile, my youngest was completing land nav at the same time, a world away, while serving in the 10th Mountain Division.

Congratulations to Trevor and Michael, the Top Team from the last Master Navigation Course! Well earned gentlemen. Competing for top team is a side bet and in no way required. Everyone who completed this course put in a heavy physical and mental effort to get it done. The reward at the end is a confidence in land navigation that is unparalleled. Congrats to you all and hope to see you soon!

GB2 Master Navigator Course, Spring 2024. Already looking forward to the fall class. Excellent crew of students. I’ll trickle a few more in over the next couple days, just wanted to get this up and congratulate all the students.

Later I’ll drop the Top Team photo, the crew of students getting ready for various Special Operations selections, also a team that flew in from Switzerland and smoked the course, and a cameo by some legendary friends of mine that joined us.
