Today, the Sam Wolf Granite City Campus came together for a 25th Remembrance of September 11, 2001.

We were honored to welcome Steve Gaumer, who joined us as a guest speaker to share his reflections as we remembered the events of 9/11.

Together, we paused to honor the lives lost, remember those whose lives were forever changed and recognize the courage and sacrifice shown in the days that followed.

A busy day for our dual credit team at Triad High School! 🏫

More than 100 prospective and new students joined us at the Sam Wolf Granite City Campus for Open House and SWIC Student Orientation on Saturday!
We were excited to welcome future Blue Storm students to campus, connect them with SWIC resources and help them prepare for a successful start to the semester. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day a success!

Last week, we celebrated 21 students completed the accelerated Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic Program through the partnership between Southwestern Illinois College and West Star Aviation . This program continues to provide students with a direct pathway to rewarding careers in aviation maintenance.
Congratulations to all of our graduates and thank you to West Star Aviation for this outstanding partnership!

Last week, we enjoyed connecting with community members, partners, and SWIC alumni at the Troy/Maryville/St. Jacob/Marine Chamber of Commerce National Night Out event. Hearing alumni success stories is a great reminder of why we do what we do. And of course, Kashmir was the life of the party! 🐾
