Installed two displays of student images on Friday **pant*pant**

Visit The Paint Chip at 217 F St. in Davis until July 19th to see the work of students who attended Wild Child Outdoor Photo Camp in conjunction with the City of Davis.

Visit the Roseville Chamber at 650 Douglas Blvd. in Roseville until Sept. 20th to see the work of students from both semi-private group lessons & camps at Blue Line Arts.

My students work from the summer camp with the City of Davis Recreation Dept. will be on display at The Paint Chip for 2 weeks, opening during 2nd Friday Art About on October 12th! If you're in the area then, check out the amazing work from this very talented group of 8 - 12 year olds.

My photographer friends Holly Daly & Marie Ortman came over for breakfast this morning and we enjoyed harvest from our urban farm. Fresh picked veggies cooked into eggs from our flock, and an Asian pear upside down coffee cake. Thank you Mother Earth for the sustenance provided. (And to the previous owners of our home who planted the orchard, and left us their flock of chickens.)

Further confirmation that Wild Child Outdoor Photo Camps mission of "Reconnecting Children with Nature thru Digital Photography" is on the right track. This article is about an environmental education master's candidate's thesis on this topic. Love it!

Digital photography may be the key to encouraging a generation of wired kids to unplug and head outdoors and connect with the natural world.
