NOW HIRING! Our enrollment is growing and we are in immediate need of additional teachers!

We are seeking warm, reliable, enthusiastic, amazing teachers who would like to connect with a school that works with young children in a supportive, hands-on learning environment.
Our program includes a unique farm and nature-based setting, where children participate in the caring for animals such as goats, chickens and bunnies. along with outdoor exploration and play-based learning experiences.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves working with children in a nurturing, supportive, and engaging environment.
This role is ideal for ECE students, moms with school-aged children, retired teachers, especially those seeking consistent part-time work.

The schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30 am - 1:00 pm

Opportunity for additional hours/subbing when available
Paid Holidays
School breaks off with pay
Supportive family environment/ non- corporate environment
Free tuition for your Preschool aged child
No evenings or weekends

$20-22 per hour /DOE

Qualifications:
Minimum 12 ECE units, including core classes:
*Principle and Practices
*Curriculum
*Child, Family, and Community
*Child Development or Human Development

-At least one year experience working with children
-CPR Adult, Infant, Child Certified (or willing to obtain)
- Must complete Live Scan fingerprinting and receive clearance

What we are looking for:
-A genuine love for working with young children 2.5-5 years
-Dependable and punctual
-Positive, team-oriented attitude
-Interest in outdoor and hands-on learning environments

Technology has no place in kindergarten through eighth grade (K-8). Research shows that learning through books, writing with pencil and paper, and engaging in dialogue with real people builds the strongest foundation for education. These traditional methods provide not only cognitive benefits but also emotional and practical skills that prepare children for lifelong learning.

One striking example comes from the Waldorf School of the Peninsula in Silicon Valley, a prestigious private school attended by the children of technology executives. Despite its location in the heart of the tech industry, the school has zero technology in grades K-8.

On its website, the school states: “Brain research tells us that media exposure can result in changes in the actual nerve network in the brain, which affects such things as eye tracking (a necessary skill for successful reading), neurotransmitter levels, and how readily students receive the imaginative pictures that are foundational for learning.”

This approach reflects a deliberate choice: to prioritize human interaction, creativity, and deep learning over early exposure to screens. It serves as a reminder that sometimes, less technology can mean more growth.
