Meet Lily! 🎉 Lily has been part of our Dual Language Program since kindergarten in 2020, and now, as a sixth grader, she is proud of how far she has come!

Please join us for Federal Programs Night on Wednesday, October 14th, at Granger High School from 5:30 to 7:00 pm to learn about the programs offered in the Granger School District.

Families will have the opportunity to rotate through informational booths and hands-on activities to interactively learn about our federal programs.

Dinner, games, and prizes will be provided!

🏈🔴⚫ BIG WIN FOR THE GRANGER SPARTANS! 💰🏆

What an exciting night for Granger High School! Tonight, during our football game, we were presented with a $5,000 check from T-Mobile as one of the Friday Night 5G Lights $5K Fridays winners! 🎉

This $5,000 will go directly toward supporting our Spartan Football program and creating more opportunities for our student-athletes!

A HUGE thank you to for supporting high school athletics and to our amazing Spartan community for showing your support throughout the competition!

This morning, a Granger Middle School student was struck by a vehicle while crossing the intersection of Bailey Avenue and E Street on the way to school. The student is in stable condition and was transported to receive medical care. We are grateful to the first responders and others who assisted at the scene this morning.

Following this incident, Granger School District will continue its focus and staff presence around school crosswalks and intersections during student arrival times.

We are also asking all parents, students, staff, and community members to take extra care when traveling near our schools:
• Slow down and follow posted school-zone speed limits.
• Watch carefully for students entering crosswalks and intersections.
• Be especially cautious during the morning hours, when sun glare and lighting conditions can make pedestrians more difficult to see.
• Avoid distractions and allow yourself additional time when traveling through school areas.

Hundreds of students walk, bike, and are dropped off at our schools each morning. A few extra seconds of caution and attention can make an enormous difference.

Thank you for helping us keep our students safe.

Esta mañana, un estudiante de Granger Middle School fue atropellado por un vehículo mientras cruzaba la intersección de Bailey Avenue y E Street cuando se dirigía a la escuela. El estudiante se encuentra en condición estable y fue trasladado para recibir atención médica. Estamos muy agradecidos con los socorristas y todas las personas que brindaron apoyo esta mañana.

A raíz de este incidente, el Distrito Escolar de Granger continuará reforzando su atención y la presencia del personal en los cruces peatonales e intersecciones cercanas a nuestras escuelas durante la llegada de los estudiantes.

También pedimos a todos los padres de familia, estudiantes, miembros del personal y de la comunidad que tengan especial cuidado al transitar cerca de nuestras escuelas:
• Reduzcan la velocidad y respeten los límites de velocidad establecidos en las zonas escolares.
• Estén atentos a los estudiantes que cruzan por los cruces peatonales y las intersecciones.
• Tengan especial precaución durante las horas de la mañana, cuando el resplandor del sol y las condiciones de luz pueden dificultar la visibilidad de los peatones.
• Eviten distracciones y tomen unos minutos adicionales al conducir por las zonas escolares.

Cada mañana, cientos de estudiantes caminan, van en bicicleta o son transportados en vehículo a nuestras escuelas. Unos cuantos segundos adicionales de precaución y atención pueden hacer una gran diferencia.

Today, Granger School District staff came together for a day of professional learning led by our own talented GSD staff!

Staff participated in a variety of sessions focused on supporting student success, including MTSS, behavior supports, relationships, instructional strategies, SEL, PBIS, Universal Design for Learning, responsible use of AI, and more.

A special thank you to our Granger School District staff members who shared their knowledge, experience, and strategies with their colleagues. We appreciate everyone who helped make today a meaningful opportunity to learn, collaborate, and grow together!

¡Hoy, el personal del Distrito Escolar de Granger se reunió para un día de aprendizaje profesional dirigido por nuestro propio personal de GSD!

Durante el día, participaron en diferentes sesiones enfocadas en apoyar el éxito de nuestros estudiantes, con temas como MTSS, apoyo al comportamiento, relaciones positivas, estrategias de enseñanza, aprendizaje socioemocional (SEL), PBIS, Diseño Universal para el Aprendizaje (UDL), el uso responsable de la inteligencia artificial y más.

Exploring Agriculture & STEM!

September 23, 2026

A group of 10th grade Granger High School GEAR UP students had an exciting hands-on learning experience at Washington State University – Irrigated Agriculture Research and Extension Center (WSU-IAREC) in Prosser!

Students explored agricultural degree programs, career pathways, and STEM opportunities through engaging activities focused on food safety, environmental sampling, genetics, apple tasting, sensory science, and drone technology.

The day continued at Roza Farm, where students explored horticulture, plant pathology, and w**e grape varieties.

A great day of learning, exploring, and discovering future possibilities in agriculture!

Our district MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) Team reviewed student data, celebrated strengths, identified priorities, and planned next steps to support students academically, behaviorally, and socially-emotionally.

Nuestro equipo distrital de MTSS (Sistema de Apoyos de Múltiples Niveles) trabajó en conjunto para revisar datos de los estudiantes, reconocer fortalezas, identificar prioridades y planear los próximos pasos para apoyar a los estudiantes en lo académico, el comportamiento y el bienestar socioemocional.
