Our staff has been hard at work preparing for a great school year! Over the past week, staff participated in professional development focused on MTSS/PBIS, analyzing student data 📊, aligning learning standards, and strengthening our team commitments 🤝. Together, we are preparing to create classrooms that are safe, engaging, supportive, and focused on helping every student succeed.

We are excited to put this learning into action and welcome our students back!

Students of Granger School District, we are looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!

¡Nuestro personal ha estado trabajando con mucho entusiasmo para prepararse para un excelente año escolar! Durante la última semana, nuestro personal participó en desarrollo profesional enfocado en MTSS/PBIS, el análisis de datos de los estudiantes 📊, la alineación de los estándares de aprendizaje y el fortalecimiento de nuestros compromisos como equipo 🤝. Join us for Senior Sunrise on the football field as we celebrate the start of an unforgettable senior year.

A huge thank you to our Roosevelt staff who showed up during optional professional development days this week—for our students, for one another, and for their own professional growth! 💙

This week was about strengthening teaching and learning, supporting the whole child, collaborating as a team, and growing together as professionals as we prepare for a great year ahead.

📚 Learning Together to Support Every Student!

Our high school staff participated in training focused on practical strategies to strengthen multilingual learners’ thinking, reading, listening, and speaking skills. Teachers experienced strategies they can take directly back to their classrooms.

Supporting multilingual learners is a districtwide priority as we work to increase student achievement through quality teaching and learning for every student.

📚 ¡Aprendiendo juntos para apoyar a cada estudiante!

El personal de nuestra preparatoria participó en una capacitación sobre estrategias prácticas para fortalecer las habilidades de pensamiento, lectura, comprensión auditiva y expresión oral de nuestros estudiantes multilingües. Los maestros también practicaron estrategias que pueden usar directamente en sus salones de clase.

Apoyar a nuestros estudiantes multilingües es una prioridad en todo el distrito mientras trabajamos para mejorar el aprendizaje y el éxito de cada estudiante por medio de una enseñanza de calidad.

Granger families, please join us for Welcome Back Night Tomorrow on Thursday, August 20!
Food and refreshments begin at 4:30 p.m. School buildings open at 5:00 p.m., and the event concludes at 7:00 p.m.
Tour the building upgrades, visit classrooms, meet teachers and staff, and learn more about the upcoming school year. We can’t wait to welcome our Spartan and Raptor families back!
