Granger High School

Granger High School Granger High School is located in rural Eastern Washington approximately 95 miles Southeast of Mt. Rainer. This includes respecting copyright and fair use laws.

The goal of the Granger High School page is to post as much as possible about the achievements of our students, staff, and high school community, as well as to broadcast relevant and timely information about our events. - are off topic or blatantly inaccurate. This is a positive space, dedicated to the Granger High community. Keep the conversation positive and related to GSD. Page administrators reserve the right to decline any comments at any time, for any reason, as well as to ban users who disregard these rules. However, we hope that will never be necessary. Our staff has been hard at work preparing for a great school year! Over the past week, staff participated in professional development focused on MTSS/PBIS, analyzing student data 📊, aligning learning standards, and strengthening our team commitments 🤝. Together, we are preparing to create classrooms that are safe, engaging, supportive, and focused on helping every student succeed.

We are excited to put this learning into action and welcome our students back!

📚 Learning Together to Support Every Student!

Our high school staff participated in training focused on practical strategies to strengthen multilingual learners’ thinking, reading, listening, and speaking skills. Teachers experienced strategies they can take directly back to their classrooms.

Supporting multilingual learners is a districtwide priority as we work to increase student achievement through quality teaching and learning for every student.

El personal de nuestra preparatoria participó en una capacitación sobre estrategias prácticas para fortalecer las habilidades de pensamiento, lectura, comprensión auditiva y expresión oral de nuestros estudiantes multilingües. Los maestros también practicaron estrategias que pueden usar directamente en sus salones de clase.

🎒 Welcome, Class of 2030!
Our freshmen spent their time getting to know Granger High School, connecting with staff and classmates, and each student who attended received a brand-new backpack filled with school supplies to start the year prepared and ready to learn. A huge thank-you to Mrs. Morales, Ms. Aldaco, our Special Education support staff, high school secretaries, student leaders, and teachers Mr. Kelley, Ms. King, Mrs. Rojas, Mr. Sanchez, and Mr. Scheel for making the day a success—Class of 2030, you belong, you matter, and you’ve got this!

Nuestros estudiantes de primer año tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer mejor Granger High School, convivir con el personal y sus compañeros, y cada estudiante que asistió recibió una mochila nueva llena de útiles escolares para comenzar el año bien preparado y listo para aprender.
