It takes a big heart to teach little minds.
And that's what we're all about here at Hammy Jammy, where we believe that every child deserves the chance to learn who they are and what they can do.
So here are three easy ways you can start practicing "all about me" with your little one:
1. Practice spelling names with our flashcards: Learning your name is the first step toward knowing who you are—and it's also a great way to build confidence! When was the last time you introduced yourself? How did it feel? If you're like most people, there's probably some hesitation there. But if you practice introducing yourself in front of your little one (and maybe even use the flashcards), eventually it'll become second nature for both of you. And then…BOOM! You'll be introducing yourself without even thinking about it!
2. Learn phone numbers together: Do your kids know how to dial 911? What about their favorite aunt or uncle? Help them learn these important numbers by using our flashcards as a learning tool—they'll feel so proud when they call someone for help because they've learned how to do it themselves!
3. Practice favorite colors together: To help your child learn their colors, try showing them different colored objects around the house and then asking them what color they are. They may not be able to name many at first—that's fine!
