“Why so strict, Sensei? Because your enemies won’t be polite” cuts through excuses. The Sensei isn’t being harsh for ego. He’s training the student for reality. Life, like a fight, doesn’t pause for comfort, hesitate when you’re tired, or respect your feelings. If you only train in perfect conditions, you’ll break when pressure hits.
